A-levels are normally studied over two years and are accepted as the standard entry qualification for applying to university courses across the United Kingdom.
The A levels are administered through various examination boards.
The pass grades for A levels are A*, A, B, C, D, and E.
AS levels are also studied across the country. You can study the A/S level as either a free standing qualification or as the first half of the full A level.
